For many years people have been relying on traditional water heaters that include a large tank. The water that is stored in this large tank is heated to a temperature which the home owner can specify. When you turn on the hot water in your home, the hot water from the tank makes its way to your faucet. The water that was used from the tank is replenished, and consequently heated to the appropriate temperature.
