By carefully planning for these tasks in advance you can rest assured that your garden will be ready for spring planting. If you choose not to winterize your garden you will have a lot more work to do in the spring, and let’s face it – most of us want to start planting instead!

Many avid gardeners dread the coming of winter. As the weather grows colder many of our favorite plants either die off or go dormant for several months. One way to enjoy the long winter is to build a greenhouse in your yard. This will allow you to continue your gardening during the winter while also providing you with an excellent opportunity to prepare for the spring.
